Senior Consultant - Audiovisual System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineering/Technical - Responsibilities include using initial program information to develop the design and working drawings for AV projects. During the construction phase, Senior Consultants review submittals and conduct site visits. They manage larger projects as their skill allows. They help train new consultants.
• Marketing/Support - Senior consultants market to their contacts and follow up on their past projects. They assist in writing proposals to new and past contacts and review proposals to these individuals.

Qualifications

• This position requires five to ten years of design or AV sales experience.

Consultant - Audiovisual System Engineer

• Engineering/Technical - Responsibilities include working with senior staff to develop audiovisual system designs for different facility types as well as recommending appropriate solutions. During the construction phase, Consultants help review submittals. Consultants would not function as Project Managers.
• Marketing/Support - Consultants market to their past contacts, follow up on their past projects, and assist in writing proposals.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate is a new engineering graduate or someone with three to six years of drafting, sales, or design experience. Some knowledge of technical systems (audio, video, control data/telecom) helpful.
