Two More Consultants Join Thorburn Associates

Castro Valley, CA March 12, 1997 --

Thorburn Associates' office is getting a little more crowded with the recent addition of 2 new members to its consulting/design team. Since joining at the beginning of the year, Christopher D. Thompson and Christine L. Lundquist have been hard at work on the new domestic and international projects awarded to the firm.

These projects include the 2500-seat FantaSea Show Theatre in Thailand (developer: Renaissance Entertainment), the new Center for Science and Education at the Oakland Zoo (architect: Christopher & Graff), the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose (architect: Banducci Associates), SJSU School of Business (architect: The Steinberg Group), St. Mary's Catholic Center (architect: Gordon H. Chong & Partners), the Kaiser Santa Clara Medical Office Building (architect: Anshen + Allen), and the Pointe Orlando cinema multiplex (developer: Muvico).

Christopher D. Thompson's more than 13 years experience as an engineer in the pro audio industry has earned him the position of Senior Consultant. A graduate from the University of Southern California, he has specialized in system configurations and modifications for recording studios and post-production facilities. He instructs for the California Recording Institute on modern studio/post-production theory and practices, and for the International Communications Industries Association on electronics. His background covers all areas of the construction process.

Christine L. Lundquist joins as a Design Consultant, coming from a background as a Director of Operations at a southern California audiovisual firm. A graduate of Pepperdine University, her expertise in the field comes from a familiarity of advanced component specifications for broadcast equipment, production coordination of live corporate presentations and entertainment events, database design, and integrated computerized operations system design.
