Themed Entertainment Projects Keep Thorburn Associates Busy

Thorburn Associates, an Acoustical Consulting and Audiovisual Engineering firm, is currently involved in several new themed entertainment projects, including:
- Acoustics and Audiovisual Designs for the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, designed by Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, Inc.
- The Kowloon Club in Hong Kong, and the San Manuel Community Center in California, both projects by JKI Design and Development.
- Acoustics for a Family Entertainment Center in Gainsville, Florida called o2b KIDS!
- Acoustics and sound system design for the Carson City Aquatic Facility renovation in Nevada.
- Sound system design and acoustics for a 15/70 large format domed theatre by iWERKS Entertainment, to be located in Oklahoma City.
- Reverberation time review of the Ethel M. Theatre in Las Vegas, designed by the Cuningham Group.
Also of note: In the Castro Valley office, some new staff members have been added to the team. Tim Van Grove is a Senior Consultant, Avi Bortnick is a Consultant, and Tony Kenoly is the Draftsperson.
