| The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign awarded Thorburn Associates (TA) a master contract for audiovisual and acoustical design. The contract, issued as a result of a competitive solicitation, satisfies the state's competitive acquisition requirements and enables the University to receive expert design services. The master contract is valid through June 30, 2008.
The scope includes: providing audiovisual and control solutions for designated rooms on campus including: programming equipment; supporting the project with full training on equipment; providing acoustical analysis and recommendations of architectural finishes and participate in planning and construction meetings.
TA is committed to helping the University develop acoustical and technology system designs to more directly meet the needs of the students. Previous work on campus includes room upgrades to David Kinley Hall, Architecture, Foreign Language Labs, Noyes Labs, Veterinarian Medicine, Speech and Hearing and a Conference Center.
