Appalachian State University, Plemmons Student Union Boone, NC
Lee Nichols Architecture	Provided Acoustical and Audiovisual consulting for the Plemmons Student Union. Consisted of the renovation of an existing area in Plemmons Student Union Building and conversion of that space to a film and video screening room. Provided a full scope of services relating to the acoustical design of the space and the identification and design of technology systems.
Baylor University, Capital Market Investment Center Waco, TX
Baylor University	Designed state-of-the-art financial trading facility to create a boardroom type atmosphere, but have the functionality of a classroom, a video-conferencing suite and a place for students to conduct financial research.
California State University, Stanislaus Turlock, CA
The Taylor Group Architects	Provided acoustical measurements and recommendations for the partitions separating the housing units from the elevators, elevator machine rooms, and the exterior mechanical yard for the facility, to meet State of California Uniform Building Code standards. the acoustical consulting services were for a 75-unit housing project located on campus. This project contains one U shaped building and one additional building. The buildings contain three elevators and there is one mechanical yard.
Campbell University, Convocation Center Buies Creek, NC
Little Diversified Architectural Consulting	Provided Acoustical and Audiovisual Consulting Services for the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center to be located at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. This was a new construction of a 3,200 seat facility that will be used as the University basketball arena and also for convocation ceremonies as well as other functions during the year. In the area of acoustical consulting, TA provided room acoustics and mechanical noise and vibration control for main arena of the facility. In the area of audiovisual systems design, TA provided sound systems design for the main arena only.
Campbell University, School of Pharmacy Buies Creek, NC
Little Diversified Architectural Consulting	Provided acoustical and audiovisual consulting expertise to Campbell University concerning their School of Pharmacy building. Acoustical services included room acoustics, sound isolation, mechanical system noise and vibration control. Audiovisual services included the design and development stage, the contract and construction phase, and bidding bidding and negotiation phase.
Catawba College, Student Center Salisbury, NC
Walter Robbs Callahan & Pierce Architects	Provided Acoustical consulting services for the Catawba College Student Center located in Salisbury, NC for a renovation of the existing Student Center to include a separation of the current Lounge into two areas divided by a wall with operable doors.
Central Texas College, Large Format Theatre & Planetarium Killeen, TX
Freese and Nichols	Acoustical review and design of the theatre/planetarium including mechanical noise control, and development of sound isolation details.
DeAnza College, Performing Arts Facility Cupertino, CA
DES Architects + Engineers	Provided acoustical consulting services including room acoustics, sound isolation and speech privacy. Provided audiovisual design for the auditorium, art history room, lobby and back-of-house areas. The state-of-the-art Visual & Performing Arts Center features a 400-seat lecture and performance hall and adaptable technologically advanced learning spaces, including a 2,000 square foot exhibit hall. Designed using LEED silver certified standards.
Elizabeth City State University, Pharmacy School Elizabeth City, NC
The Freelon Group, Inc	Provided Audiovisual and Acoustical consulting services for Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) Pharmacy School located on the ECSU campus in Elizabeth City, NC. Provided acoustical consulting for review and recommendations of room acoustics for thirteen distance-learning classrooms. Provided complete design services for approximately 20 audiovisual classrooms and labs including HD Video conferencing and telepresence classroom capabilites for several rooms.
George Washington University, Prototype Lectern Washington, DC
George Washington University	Development of a prototype lectern and subsequent detail design of renovated classrooms at various sites around the University and review of the functionality for the E Street Building lectern design. Design service include: Programming/ Schematic Design, Design Development, and Installation of Development.
Indiana University, Riley Outpatient Center Indianapolis, IN
Kaplan/McLaughlin/Diaz	Designed room acoustics and mechanical noise control for a 50-seat classroom, plus audiovisual system infrastructure design for a 216-seat auditorium and surrounding conference rooms. Sound isolation advice was provided to insulate the educational center from noise created by a fast food restaurant located one floor above.
James Madison University Radio Station Harrisonburg, VA
Martin & Co. Architects, Inc.	Provided room acoustics and sound isolation for two radio stations, WXJM and WMRA, at James Madison University. The project was a relocation of the two radio stations. The NPR station (WMRA) consists of two production studios, an interview room and two air studios. The WXJM station is a student run radio station consisting of a garage studio, an air studio and a production studio.
Martin Methodist College, Fine Arts Center Pulaski, TN
Gresham Smith and Partners	Provided Room Acoustics, Sound Isolation and Mechanical Noise and Vibration Control for the overall facility with special concentration on the auditorium and choir rehearsal hall. This building was converted from Aan existing gymnasium on campus t into a performing arts center. The renovated facility contains a small auditorium, choir rehearsal hall and some office spaces on the first floor and a music classroom, art classroom, painting studio and some small art labs on the second floor.
Miami Dade Community College, Follets Bookstore Miami, FL
Cowan and Associates, Inc.	Provided acoustical consulting services for the Miami Dade Community College, Follett Bookstore located in Miami, FL. This included a sound attenuation study for the bookstore to determine if the college could remove the existing blue sound baffles currently hanging from the ceilings.
Montclair State University, New Academic Building Montclair, NJ
Montclair State University	Peer review of the audiovisual system design for the new Academic Building in the University.
N.C. A&T State University, Corbett Intramural Center Annex Greensboro, NC
Corley Redfoot Zack, Inc.	Coordinated and designed Data and Telecom systems for Corbett Intramural Center including internal infrastructure, systems design, and outside plant wiring to tie new construction to existing cable plant.
N.C. A&T State University, Harrison Auditorium Greensboro, NC

North Carolina Central University, Pearson Cafeteria Durham, NC
NC Central University	Provided technology consulting services including a digital signage display system and videoconferencing in the teaching kitchen. The renovated cafeteria has a seating capacity of 1,225 students and includes a teaching kitchen, dining facilities for the Chancellor and faculty, a convenience store, a sandwich shop, a ticket office and take-out food.
North Carolina Central University, Turner Law School Durham, NC
O'Brien/Atkins Associates	Provided input on room acoustics for NCCU, Turner Law School, Great Hall. Reviewed and recommended the selection and location of room finishes to promote natural acoustics, enhance speech intelligibility, control excess reverberation, and reduce unwanted echoes. Reviewed and recommended subtle room layout concepts to help improve the acoustical environment.
North Carolina State University, Administration Building III Raleigh, NC
North Carolina State University	Converted the use from a high density file room into two offices separated by a newly constructed partition wall. Provided Sound Isolation recommendations to be consistent with best practices of acoustical sound isolation in preparation for future federally funded programs requiring a yet to be determined level of acoustical privacy and security.
North Carolina State University, Bio-Manufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC) Raleigh, NC
O'Brien/Atkins Associates	BTEC is a 93,800 square foot hands-on facility for education, basic training and skills development in biotechnology industry operations. Several state of the art classrooms, distance learning rooms and laboratories are housed in the new building to provide state-wide training.
North Carolina State University, Classroom Prototype Design Raleigh, NC
NC State University, Facilities Planning & Design	Provided prototype designs for the North Carolina State University facilities department to use when contracting renovation work on campus to existing classrooms. Helped develop designs around three core classrooms types and provided full infrastructure and system functionals as well as a standard audiovisual specification that the University can tailor to each future renovation project.
North Carolina State University, Mathematics and Statistics Building Raleigh, NC
Millennium 3 Design Group	Provided acoustical and audiovisual consulting services for the Math & Statistics Building. This project is new construction of a 110,000 SF multi-departmental classroom building houses state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, tutorial centers and meeting and study space for students and faculty from NC State's mathematics and statistics departments. Designs included a partnership with Cisco to improve digital communications for students by providing access to live and on-demand video content from anywhere on campus.
North Carolina State University, Steam Plant Renovation Raleigh, NC
North Carolina State University	Documented the noise levels of the steam plants before and after construction and provided recommendations due to adjacencies with several buildings, including some housing. North Carolina State University renovated the Cates Avenue Steam Plant and the Yarbrough Steam Plant located on campus.
Palomar College, High Technology Classrooms and Laboratory Building San Marcos, CA
Palomar College	Designed a high technology facility to aid the instructor in presenting a dynamic lecture in the Palomar College High Technology Classrooms and Laboratory Building. The design goal of each room is to provide a flexible infrastructure. The control system provides ease for the use of the presenter, while helping in the creation of a dynamic presentation to the students. Design includes: Audiovisual Design, Control System, and System Integration.

CAS Architects, Inc.	Conducted noise and vibration measurements on the Stanford Library Scanner.

CAS Architects, Inc.	Reviewed past reports on vibration issues, requirements for the Cryorefrigerator, photos, email correspondence & telephone conversations. Provided recommendations involving the vibration levels surrounding the pump room regarding vibration levels of pump room.
University of Cincinnati, Zimmer Auditorium Cincinnati, OH
Kohr Lonneman Heil Engineers	Provided acoustical consulting services for the University of Cincinnati, Zimmer Auditorium located in Cincinnati, OH. Reviewed and recommended the selection and location of room finishes to promote natural acoustics, enhance speech intelligibility, control excess reverberation, and reduce unwanted echoes for the auditorium. Computing Facilities Development	Designed an audiovisual system for the remodel of the Flora Dungan Auditorium on the main UNLV Campus located in Las Vegas, NV.
University of New Mexico, Learning Resource Center Albuquerque, NM
Rohde May Keller McNamara Architecture	Provided room acoustic measurements and sound isolation for the Broadcast Classroom, Reading Room, and the restroom of the college. Provided acoustical consulting for Learning Resource Center University of New Mexico Campus.
University of North Carolina at Asheville, Highsmith University Student Center Asheville, NC
UNC Asheville	Provided audiovisual system design for the Highsmith University Student Center located in Asheville, NC. Reviewed the design assumptions made in early stages of development of the project and resolved them with current audiovisual requirements as defined by discussions with University facilities and user groups. Developed acoustical requirements as determined by findings for sound isolation and speech privacy. Provided specific recommendations in Phase II for wall and ceiling assemblies for sound isolation in the meeting rooms.
University of North Carolina at Asheville, Science Building Asheville, NC
O'Brien/Atkins Associates	Provided acoustical and audiovisual design for the science building at the Unviersity of North Carolina, Ashville, based on the current programming of the rooms within the facility.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dental Sciences Building Chapel Hill, NC
Flad & Associates	Provided acoustical and audiovisual consulting services for the Dental Sciences Building at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill located in Chapel Hill, NC. Provided room acoustics services for the Lecture Halls and four-story Atrium and an overall acoustical review to address sound isolation and mechanical noise and vibration control as well as audiovisual design services for the lobby, atrium, auditorium, lecture halls, seminar rooms, preclinical teaching labs and distance learning labs.This was new construction of a 226,000 SF building on the UNC-CH campus to increase the size of the Dental Sciences Complex by 50%.

University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Center City Building Charlotte, NC
Gantt Huberman Architects, PLLC	The 12-story Center City Building is located at Ninth and Brevard Streets in downtown Charlotte. The building will house UNC Charlotte's MBA program and other programs including graduate-level classes in the colleges of Engineering, Health and Human Services, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Arts + Architecture's new master's program in Urban Design. Thorburn Associates provided audiovisual system design services for tiered classrooms, lecture halls, an auditorium and a trading room. The Center City Building uses innovative and high performance building systems as well as local and recycled materials, and has registered to attain the LEED Silver certification.
University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Academic Office and Classroom Building Greensboro, NC
O'Brien/Atkins Associates	Provided Acoustical and Audiovisual consulting services for a 110,000 new classroom and office building for various departments of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In the area of acoustical consulting, TA provided room acoustics and mechanical noise and vibration control. Worked with the University to make recommendations for an audiovisual program for several spaces, including classrooms, auditoriums, labs and a training resource center.
University of North Carolina at Pembroke, New Classroom Building Pembroke, NC
Jenkins Peer Architects	Acoustical and audiovisual design for new classroom building. Provided programming through commissioning for observation rooms, advanced technology classrooms, faculty conference room.
University of North Carolina at Wilmington, New Teaching Lab Wilmington, NC
Jenkins Peer Architects	Provided an overall review of Room Acoustics and Mechanical Noise and Vibration Control in the area of Acoustical Consulting. The Audiovisual design includes a distance learning center, several classrooms, a conference room, seminar rooms, research labs and the vivarium.Thorburn Associates is providing Audiovisual and Acoustical Consulting Services for the 80,000 square foot UNC Wilmington New Teaching Lab. The building will serve as a general classroom buildng and also house the University's Psychology Department including faculty offices, laboratories and a 5000-sf vivarium. The University is pursuing LEED Certification for the building.
University of Oklahoma, Biomedical Research Center Tulsa, OK
MBT Architecture, Inc.	Created wall angle designs to reduce seminar room echoes, plus acoustic wall finishes and mechanical noise isolation details for conference rooms and offices in the Health Sciences building.
University of South Florida, Joint Military Center Tampa, FL
University of South Florida	Provided audiovisual consulting services for the University of South Florida – Joint Military Leadership Center project located in Tampa, FL. This was a new construction of a four story, 50,000 square feet building which serves as the Joint Military Leadership Center (JMLC), which supports an innovative program designed to enhance the quality of reserve officer training corps (ROTC) programs for the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force through improved efficiency in the delivery of leadership skills and training. Additionally, the facility contains three “general use” classrooms that are scheduled and managed centrally, accessible to any college or departments.

University of Wisconsin, School of Business Madison, WI
The Zimmerman Design Group	Provided audiovisual consulting services for the University of Wisconsin, School of Business Grainger Hall addition. This project included a 300 seat meeting room, eight tiered classrooms, four flat classrooms, four seminar rooms and a conference room.
Wake Forest University, Welcome Center Winston-Salem, NC
Lambert Architecture + Interiors	TA provided room acoustics, mechanical noise and vibration control as well as the infrastructure design for the audiovisual systems and the performance lighting design. The Wake Forest University Welcome Center is new construction that houses the Admissions Office and a tiered auditorium serving meeting/assembly functions for the larger campus community (banquets, conferences, performances, etc.).The project is seeking LEED certification and is currently in the architectural construction document phase.
Washington & Lee University, Evans Dining Hall Lexington, VA
Washington & Lee University	Assessed the acoustical condition of the hall and provided recommendations to improve the performance of the facility. Evans Dining Hall on the Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA experienced difficulties with acoustical issues associated with its primary uses and the use of sound systems in the main dining room.
West Valley College, The Fox Center Los Angeles, CA
Steinberg Architects	Provided recommendations to achieve proper sound separation between units and floors based on stated system and any other acoustical recommendations pertinent to the Fox Center at West Valley College.
Western Carolina University, Student Recreation Center Cullowhee, NC

Whitman College, Cordiner Hall Walla Walla, WA
Whitman College	Provided acoustical analysis of the Cordiner Hall lobby, a very reverberant space whose acoustics made it difficult to use for pre-function activities and dinner parties. Recommendations were provided for acoustical wall finishes and loudspeaker placement.
