Paul Douglas Architect Designed audio system for Henry and Sigrid Spath Aquatic Facility at the C.V. Starr Community Center in Ft. Bragg, CA. The system is designed for paging and background music throughout the Center, with inputs and volume controls in locations for events and activities. The facility includes a Natatorium, Aerobics, Fitness and presentation rooms.

Cabarrus County Expo Park

Concord, NC

Overcash Demmitt Architects Acoustical consulting for Cabarrus County Exposition Park in Concord, NC. Provided acoustical design and mechanical noise control for the "Large Exhibit Space" and "Exhibit Building" within the Cabarrus County Exposition Park. Provided recommendations for the selection and location of room finishes to promote natural acoustics, enhance speech intelligibility, control excess reverberation, and reduce unwanted echoes.

DES Architects + Engineers Provided acoustical consulting services including room acoustics, sound isolation and speech privacy. Provided audiovisual design for the auditorium, art history room, lobby and back-of-house areas. The state-of-the-art Visual & Performing Arts Center features a 400-seat lecture and performance hall and adaptable technologically advanced learning spaces, including a 2,000 square foot exhibit hall. Designed using LEED silver certified standards.

Glass Architects Audiovisual services for a 43, 000 square foot community center for the City of Elk Grove, CA. Provided recommendations for a paging system throughout the complex and acoustical recommendations.

George M. Silliman Center Nataorium

Glass Architects Acoustical services for a 36,000 square foot community activity center and a 34,000 square foot indoor aquatics center. Hannah Block Historic USO Building

Wilmington, NC

John Sawyer Architects Provided acoustical consulting services for the Hannah Block Historic USO Building located in Wilmington, NC. This was a renovation of an historical building in downtown Wilmington, NC (owned by the City of Wilmington) that is used as a Community Arts Center. The primary space in the building is a 72 feet X 47 feet, 3,500 square feet historic “dance hall” now containing a stage and flat floor with 150 seat temporary seating capacity. This facility has multiple uses including theatrical presentations and other community gatherings. Provided room acoustics and mechanical noise and vibration control for the primary theatrical space.

Long View CenterConducted a site visit to facility to review issues associated with noise abatement from presentations at Raleigh Moore Square Park. Long View Center is at the site of the historical church, Tabernacle Baptist Church built in 1880. The facility is now used for weddings, concerts, memorial services, meetings, and other similar events.

Oakland Zoo Entrance Pavilion

Oakland, CA

The Oakland Zoo Acoustical design and audiovisual system programming for a new 17,500 square foot facility at the Oakland Zoo. The building includes classrooms, a 145 seat auditorium, a 40 seat surround-sound theatre, rotating exhibits in the lobby/discovery area, and a conference center used for scientific or educational presentations.

Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame

Colorado Springs, CO

ProRodeo Hall of Fame Provided room acoustics and sound system reviews for the Hall of Fame. The Hall, located adjacent to the National Headquarters of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, is the only heritage center in the world devoted exclusively to professional rodeo — America’s original sport.

Calvin Cochran Architect Provided Acoustical Consulting Services for the Richmond Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center to be located in Booneville, NC. This was a new construction of a family life center for the church. TA provided Room Acoustics for Room 114, Multi-Purpose Room and 117 Stage.

Samuel L. Jones Community Center

Santa Rosa, CA

City of Santa Rosa Provided acoustical consulting services for the Samuel L. Jones Hall Community Center in Santa Rosa, CA. The gymnasium had terrible acoustics, hard surfaces, VCT floors, CMU walls, open structure ceiling. Since the space has a multifunction use they were getting a lot of complaints, which made it difficult to rent out the space. Performed RT60 measurements and provided room acoustics recommendations.

Provided acoustical engineering and audiovisual systems design for the auditorium of the facility that was converted into a multi-use space including community theater, meeting, dining and many other types of event uses. In addition, provided audiovisual systems design for three conference rooms planned for the facility.
