|
Cupertino School District |
The Guided Learning Centers contain one large multipurpose stage/auditorium/community meeting room surrounded by math and science classrooms. The design challenge was to provide a space that would allow the multipurpose room to function at the same time as the classrooms. The associated classrooms had glass/window walls looking into the auditorium. The acoustical room finishes for the domed ceiling were of particular concern to minimize the focusing of the active noise in the facility. The audio system design required that the system be easy to operate, rugged, and student-proof. |
Past projects are personal experience of TA principals.
