This 300 seat theatre was created exclusively for the INFOCOMM '97 show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Used for showcasing the integration of all-digital projection with a 24,000 watt surround sound system, the theatre is capable of delivering over 120 dB to every seat in the house. Our work included acoustical modifications within the theatre to control low frequency reverberation and improve general room acoustics.

The 28,700 watt digital surround sound system uses 32 speakers divided into 7 clusters. Additional services for this 441 seat theatre included studying environmental noise levels, HVAC noise control, sound isolation details, theatre acoustical design, and construction administration.

Orlando Science Center - iWERKS CineDome, Orlando, FL

For this 15/70 dome theatre which seats 310 people, we designed the 28,000 watt digital audio system and the loudspeaker layout pattern for the 30 speakers which are grouped into 7 clusters. The Dr. Phillips CineDome is also used as a planetarium (with live video feed from the on-site observatory telescope) and for laser light shows.
